Boot was born in Thailand, and later moved to the US to attend a college preparatory boarding school at Culver Academies in Culver, Indiana. She received a BFA in Furniture Design and Sculpture from Herron School of Art and Design.
Boot's been in New York since 2012 and has worked with artists and designers such as Rachel Comey, Susan Cianciolo and Todd Thomas. She also freelances as a researcher and translator for Art4d and VICE Media. Currently, She works full time at Hariri & Hariri Architecture.
She loves handmade work and focuses in cotton and silk using 100% recycled and natural fabrics. Most of her fabric originates from Queen Sirikit Textile and Jim Thompson Fabrics in Thailand.
