Born in Chiang Mai, Thailand, Boot moved to the U.S. to attend a college preparatory boarding school at Culver Academies in Culver, Indiana. She received a BFA in Furniture Design and Sculpture from Herron School of Art and Design.
Boot has resided in New York since 2012. Experienced in freelancing as a researcher and translator for art4d and VICE, she has also formerly worked with artists and designers Rachel Comey, Susan Cianciolo, and Todd Thomas and currently works at Hariri & Hariri Architecture.
She loves 35mm Film, Modern Architecture, Space Age Design and Woodworking. Boot focuses on handmade works and sources her textile in cotton and silk using 100% recycled and natural fabrics. Most of her fabric originates from Queen Sirikit Textile and Jim Thompson in Thailand.
